Growing up in the 1970s, I fell in love with my uncle's customized Corvette and I will never forget the roses engraved on the windows. My first sand-carved art piece was a Japanese landscape with mountains, a waterfall, and a pagoda on the back window of my brother's Honda Civic.

He won a first-prize trophy at the Lowrider show, and I have been carving ever since. After being in business for a decade, I was personally asked by Ryan Friedlinghaus of West Coast Customs to engrave the back window for his DC Comics projects - the Flash and Aquaman cars.
